Description: Production technician for Rack Panel Systems
Would you like to help create structure, develop working methods and make production more efficient and robust?
Carlssons RPS AB develops, manufactures and installs systems for the installation of servers in data centers to achieve energy-efficient cooling under the Rack Panel Systems brand.
We have our own production in Hudiksvall and Hedesunda of specially adapted products for sealing data racks.

We are looking for a production technician who will have a central role between product development and production. The role suits you who like to combine practical production experience with technology, structure and improvement work.
With us, your main task will be to ensure that production has the right basis, the right files and the right way of working in order to be able to manufacture efficiently and with consistent quality.
About the role
As a production technician, you are responsible for developing and managing our production methods and production basis.
You work closely with the production manager, product developer, team leader, site manager and operators and becomes an important link between design and production.
Product development is responsible for developing the product and developing the technical basis. Your task will be to ensure that this is translated into a functioning, structured and efficient production basis - and that it is then kept updated and improved over time.
Examples of tasks
Build up, quality-assure and maintain production preparations in the ERP system.
Ensure correct operations, materials, times and production basis.
Structure and quality-assure cutting files, punch files and other machine files.
Produce and maintain processing files/programs for e.g. fiber laser, punching machine and CNC machines.
Create a clear folder and file structure for production-related files.
Ensure version management and traceability of production documents.
Produce and maintain work instructions, manuals and standardized procedures.
Work with production calculations, operation times and production costs.
Follow up time stamps and identify improvement opportunities.
Participate in industrialization and production introduction of new products.
Work with preventive machine maintenance and maintenance plans.
Drive and coordinate ongoing improvement work in production.
Identify bottlenecks, unnecessary steps and opportunities for efficiency.
Reduce personal dependencies through documentation, standardization and clear processes.
The role in the organization
An important part of the position is to create a clear bridge between product development and production.
Product development
Develops the product and is responsible for, among other things, construction, drawings, technical requirements, material selection and basic article data.
Production technology
Translates the product documentation into an efficient and repeatable manufacturing method and is responsible for managing and improving the production documentation.
Team leader and site manager
Plans and leads the day-to-day work in production.
Production manager
Responsible for production's overall results, resources, priorities and development.
As a production technician, you will therefore have the opportunity to work more long-term with issues that otherwise easily get behind daily production.
Who are we looking for?
We believe you have experience from the manufacturing industry and a great interest in how production can be made simpler, clearer and more efficient.
You don't have to know everything from scratch, but we believe that you:
have a good understanding of manufacturing and production flows,
are technically interested and practical,
like order, structure and standardization,
have an understanding of drawings and technical documents,
is comfortable working in ERP systems and other digital systems,
has experience in or interest in CNC, laser, punching or other machine preparation,
can collaborate with both designers and production staff,
likes to solve problems and improve existing ways of working,
can take responsibility for an area and drive issues from problem to completed solution.
Experience in CAD/CAM, CNC programming, fiber laser, punching, Monitor ERP systems or production preparation are meritorious.
