The MTS is a reusable service for transforming metadata between different metadata schemas and formats. The service will provide transformation and validation functionality via a REST API and integrate with the Metadata Schema and Crosswalk Registry (MSCR), which provides authoritative information about supported schemas, schema versions, and crosswalks. As a Python Developer you will work together with the EOSC EDEN project team to convert the existing MTS requirements and specifications into a working, maintainable service. In addition, depending on project needs and priorities, you contribute to the development and maintenance of other services and software solutions within the EOSC EDEN project and SURF's Data Preservation Services team.
