Description: 🚀 We are looking for a Senior Team Leader / Tech Lead – Python & System Development

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced and committed team leader for a long-term consulting assignment in system development. We are looking for someone who enjoys combining close and clear leadership with practical development work and technical responsibility.

📍 Location: Gävle, Sweden

🏢 Working model: Hybrid - at least 50% on site

📅 Assignment period: January 11, 2027 – January 31, 2029

🔄 Extension possibility: Up to 24 months

🎯 Competence level: Level 4 (9–12 years of experience)

    Work permit: Valid work permit in Sweden required. No visa sponsorship is offered for this position.
    Availability: You must be able to start immediately, at short notice or according to an agreed start date.
    Relocation: You must be willing to relocate to Gävle if necessary and be able to meet the requirement of at least 50% presence in the office.

🔹 About the assignment

You will lead a cross-functional development team working with mission-critical applications in digital information management and archiving.

The role combines operational team leadership with active system development. You are responsible for creating good conditions for the team's deliveries, promoting collaboration and ensuring that the technical development is of high quality.

The team works in an agile manner and has a close collaboration with business experts and other development teams. Python is one of the central programming languages in the development environment.

🔹 Main duties

    Lead, coordinate and develop an agile system development team.
    Participate actively in the daily development work and contribute technical expertise.
    Support the team in technical decisions, problem solving and prioritization of tasks.
    Ensure efficient working methods and high quality in development and management.
    Collaborate with the business's experts, product managers and other technical teams.
    Drive continuous improvement of the team's processes and delivery capabilities.
    Contribute to goal management, change work and development of the team's way of working.
    Support development and management of additional applications and systems as needed.

🔹 Mandatory qualifications

    Equivalent to competence level 4, with approximately 9-12 years of relevant experience.
    Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
    Swedish citizenship.
    Documented experience of team leadership in system development.
    Solid experience in system development and established programming languages.
    Opportunity to work on site in Gävle at least 50% of the working time.
    Availability for interview during the period 21–23 October or 26–28 October 2026.
