Description: This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsMin Experience: 1 yearsLocation: USAJobType: full-timeWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Python Developer to join our growing engineering team in the United States. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of hands-on experience who is eager to build scalable applications, write clean and efficient code, and contribute to meaningful product development. As a Python Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and senior engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems and services. You will play an important role in building reliable APIs, automating workflows, handling data processing tasks, and supporting application performance improvements. The position offers an opportunity to strengthen your Python expertise while working in a collaborative environment that values learning, ownership, and high-quality engineering practices.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain backend applications and services using PythonWrite clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practicesBuild and integrate RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrationsWork with databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performanceAssist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutionsParticipate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve code qualityContribute to automation scripts and internal tools to enhance operational efficiencySupport deployment processes and monitor applications in production environmentsContinuously learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and development practicesWhat Makes You a Great Fit1+ year of professional experience developing applications using PythonStrong understanding of Python fundamentals, including data structures and object-oriented programmingFamiliarity with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPIBasic experience working with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web service integrationKnowledge of version control systems such as GitStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a teamGood communication skills and willingness to learn from senior engineersBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
