Description: This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsSalary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 15-20 LPA)Min Experience: 5 yearsLocation: BangaloreJobType: full-timeThe Python Developer will be responsible for building high-performance backend services and APIs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration across digital platforms. This role involves contributing to system architecture, enhancing automation processes, and supporting cloud-based deployments.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Build scalable systems for content distribution, data processing, and analytics. Integrate backend services with third-party APIs, CMS platforms, and digital media systems. Ensure application performance, security, and reliability across all services. Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews. Support CI/CD pipelines, automation efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required SkillsMust-Have 5–7 years of hands-on Python development experience. Strong proficiency with Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Cloud deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, etc.). Good-to-Have Exposure to digital media, streaming, or VoD platforms. Experience with analytics workflows or data pipelines. Knowledge of microservices architecture or asynchronous processing. Eligibility / Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5–7 years of relevant development experience. Optional: Cloud or Python-related certifications.
