Exclusive experience working with Java.
Proven experience in data Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes.
Solid knowledge as a database user, covering SQL, stored procedures and triggers.
Experience in data management processes, including both batch processing and distributed processing.
Technical/basic English: Ability to read documentation, understand requirements and write simple messages.

Functions of the position

The Semi Senior Developer will join the team to automate, transform and clean data from various sources, such as Excel, XML and CSV. Your day-to-day will include uploading and reviewing these files to the cloud using GCP. Additionally, you will actively work with data pipelines that feed Big Data environments through scripts.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of Python.
Design, creation and management of ETL On Prem (Pentaho, Control-M, Nifi) or Cloud (Airflow, Cloud Composer, Glue, Lambda).
Knowledge of technologies such as Spark and DataProc / DataFlow.
Knowledge of data environments, quality, process modeling and data flows.
Basic notions of statistics, machine learning and deep learning.

What do we offer?

Salary range: $2,000,000 - $2,200,000 CLP.
Mode: Remote.
Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Contract: Initial 6-month project with possible extension.
