At Unholster we develop custom software, data and predictive analytics for clients in various sectors.We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, implementation and delivery of innovative solutions that directly impact our clients' business.You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that covers engineering, product and data, working on projects that require high performance, scalability and code quality. 

We are especially interested in this position being projected as a central part in strengthening our technical capabilities and in the evolution of our way of developing software.As you advance in the role, you will have the possibility of assuming technical leadership responsibilities, either as a reference in a technological vertical, leading teams or defining transversal standards in collaboration with other areas of the company.

• At least 3 years of professional experience developing systems in production.
• Demonstrated ability to design and maintain complex software.
• Solid general knowledge of software engineering and ease in communicating/explaining.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure ideal).

We are looking for a Semi-Senior Software Engineer to join our large horizontal team of engineers, data scientists, UX/UI specialists and project managers, who work in a multidisciplinary way on projects of varying sizes and complexity, which have in common a high level of ambition andchallenge.

We expect our Software Engineers to be fundamentally versatile, although each naturally gravitates towards some combination of the following archetypes: Architect, Engineering Manager, Mentor, Lead Developer and Individual Contributor.

Depending on each individual's strengths and interests, we try to guide their career in the most related direction.

The typical day-to-day life of a SWE Semi-senior consists ofin:

• Quickly understand the objectives and challenges of your project (sometimes more than one) and design your own work plan with expected delivery dates.
• Develop in a highly productive way, signaling early risks of blocking, coordinating support from other colleagues and/or teams, and managing AI agents (we mainly use Claude Code and Cursor, without consumption limits. The proposal of new tools and techniques is very welcome).
• Give visibility and actively communicate with your team (typically, a small group of people including software engineers, data scientists and project managers),
• Participate in the design and strategic planning process of the projects in which you will be involved, as well as cross-company initiatives.
