Our team Data & AI Governance is looking for a Senior Data Steward (f/m/d) on a CDI based in Lille / Paris.

You will join the Data & AI Governance Center of Expertise (CoE), a dynamic team of enthusiasts, to transform our raw data assets into a certified, auditable and actionable asset, thus guaranteeing the excellence of our data and our transition to AI.

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

As a Senior Data Steward, you will be a key referent in Data Governance for members of the federated community. You will play a pivotal role in the definition, deployment and continuous improvement of governance standards, with a focus on Data Knowledge and/or Data Quality subjects.

Your time will be shared between:

1. Acceleration of the central roadmap of the CoE Data Governance: definition of strategic standards (Data Governance by Design, referencing of business quality requirements, centralized management of data quality, integration of governance requirements in the Data Contract project of the Data Platform, and development of Data Knowledge / Context Layer, etc.).
2. Support for a Digital Unit / Business Domain (Supply Chain, Commerce, Digital Sports or Corporate Operations) and Country teams: manage the practice of Data Stewardship, support the increase in maturity, co-define and manage the trajectory of strategic OKRs (e.g.: 95% of critical data respecting their quality threshold) and lead the community.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will push the organization towards excellence in the execution of data governance and quality by any means necessary, including:

• Define and evolve the Data Governance framework:
• Unified Trust & DQ Metrics Store: Participate in structuring the Data Quality Metrics Store to provide a unified and transparent vision of data health.
• Governance & Data Contracts: Collaborate closely with the Data Platform team to ensure that governance, security/compliance (classification, PII) and quality requirements are natively integrated into the Data Contract project (“Define once, apply everywhere”).
• Data Knowledge & Context Layer: Structuring technical-functional knowledge in the data catalog (Collibra) and promoting the context layer (Context Layer) to facilitate discoverability and data lineage.
• Shift-Left & Remediation: Deploy the shared responsibility model with data producers (Quality by Design) and standardize the monitoring of remediation plans.
• Support a Digital Unit / Domain :
• Lead and support the functional and technical practice of Data Stewardship within a dedicated vertical.
• Carry out technical and methodological training for Data Stewards, Data Owners and producers.
• Evaluate the Data Governance maturity of the domain and manage the pathways towards the certification of critical assets.
• Provide daily support and participate in the recruitment of future teammates.
• Contribute to defining standards of professional excellence and assess the level of expertise when recruiting for the Data Governance sector within the fields.
