Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Engineer for an innovative GenAI project in the insurance environment. The aim is to develop and integrate an AI-supported solution for digital conversation preparation for field sales.

Together with a GenAI engineer and an existing development team, you will be responsible for the technical implementation from development, integration and testing to production-related deployment.

Development and implementation of backend services and APIs with Python
Integration of an AI-based agent solution into an existing chat assistant platform using agent-to-agent communication (A2A)
Deployment and operation of containerized applications on Open PaaS / OpenShift
Implementation of CI/CD pipelines, database connections, monitoring and security
Performing automated tests and ensuring software quality
Co-design of the solution design together with the existing development team
Work closely with architecture, security, platform and specialist teams
Creation of technical documentation and handover of the developed components
Several years of experience in backend development with Python
In-depth knowledge of API design and development of REST APIs
Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Open PaaS and containerized applications
Very good DevOps knowledge in CI/CD, Git, automated testing and deployment
Experience with relational databases, SQL and data modeling
Experience with monitoring, security and production-related provision
Experience with AI agent integration and agent-to-agent (A2A) communication is an advantage
Independent, structured way of working and strong ability to work in a team
