As an Application engineer, you will be part of the team that builds top-notch business applications for World’s leader in Supply Chain, Apple Inc. As a part of IS&T SCI team, you will play a pivot role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple Supply Chain needs varying from Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Product distribution and so on. You will partner with various stakeholders to define and implement solutions that optimize our internal business processes.

Key Qualifications

Able to research, architect and drive complex technical solutions, consisting of multiple technologies.
Hands-on experience in developing software applications using Python and related technologies.
Experience in Python Data Analytics platforms, pandas, dataframes, NumPy etc
Strong Knowledge in data structure and algorithm design and object-oriented programming
Experience in developing softwares and services in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, etc.
Experience in building Django / Flask based App server, API development
Development experience with container orchestration systems such as Docker, Kubernetes
Solid code review skills
Experience in any of the Database technologies (RDBMS, Key-Value, Document based, etc) is a plus.
Experience in developing distributed data processing systems is a plus.

Coding is a major part of this role Develop system components as well as take bottom line for team’s timely deliverables quality and performance You will Interface with product owners, developers, QA, Support teams and end users. Lead proof-of-concept and pilot implementations to demonstrate new ideas Strive for top quality results and continuously look for ways to improve and enhance system reliability, performance, and security. Must be able to perform regular design and code reviews and participate in debugging and coding to resolve issues. Demonstrates solid understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing) and web technologies. Participate in architectural design meetings for data/system integration projects

Education & Experience

B.S / M.S in Computer Science or equivalent. 8+ years of relevant experience.
