Description: Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)Duration: 12 MonthsIdeal Candidate Profile | Strong Fit CandidateSenior Backend Engineer with heavy Python/FastAPI experience. 10+ yearsHas built and supported production APIs deployed in AWS or GCP.Experience integrating external AI/LLM providers rather than building ML models.Comfortable with microservices, event-driven architectures, queues, caching strategies, and high-availability systems.Has experience managing authentication, security, observability, and production support.React exposure is a significant bonus.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
