Your missions

As a Senior Quantitative Analyst (m/f/n), you will be responsible for validation initial, periodic changes to the internal models used for the management of credit risk or other types of risk.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Review of the documentation of the internal models;
• Control of the source codes and data used for the modeling;
• Critical analysis of the methodology and assumptions of the internal models (e.g. by creating ''challenger'' models);
• Review of the technical implementation and use of the models;
• Documentation and presentation of the results of the validation mission in validation reports;
• Follow-up of the recommendations made;
• Maintenance of the inventory of models;
• Quantification and monitoring of model risk.

Required qualifications

• Holder of a Master's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Econometrics, or similar; any professional or post-graduate certification is an advantage;
• Professional experience of at least 5 years in the field of modeling or validation of credit risk models (IRB, IFRS 9, Pillar 2);
• Knowledge of the regulatory context in the following areas:
•  Credit risk models
•  Other models used by financial institutions for risk management
• Knowledge of the tools used for data processing and modeling (e.g. Python, Dataïku, SQL)
• Mastery of French and English languages; knowledge of the Luxembourgish language constitutes an advantage
• Team spirit, autonomy, method and rigor in the work
• In-depth analytical mind

Technical skills

The acquisition of these skills can, on the basis of demonstrated learning predispositions, be carried out through the supervision and training offered by the Bank during the taking up of duties and the integration period.
