We are looking for: 1 software tester for a customer in the aviation systems sector

Vienna, full-time

Tasks

* Ensuring the functionality and quality of the software for the CAMCOPTER® S-100 as well as future helicopter generations

* Testing complex overall systems consisting of PC-based software and Embedded Devices

* Analysis of interfaces and system behavior directly on real hardware

* Creation and maintenance of structured test specifications as well as derivation of test cases from requirements

* Planning, execution and documentation of software, system and integration tests

* Comprehensible preparation of test results in meaningful test reports

* Close collaboration with embedded, software and test teams in error analysis and quality assurance

Profile

What you bring with you

* Completed technical training (HTL, FH or university)

* Practical experience in software and system testing

* Interest in complex technical systems and their interaction between software and hardware

* Knowledge of dealing with interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN or serial communication

* Team-oriented working style and proactive communication skills

This is an advantage

* Experience with embedded systems

* Knowledge of C, C++ or Python

* Experience in testing safety-critical systems

* ISTQB certification or comparable qualification

* Interest in aviation and UAV technologies
