Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer for a long-term contract position based in McLean, Virginia. This is an onsite role requiring presence five days per week. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain data-intensive applications and ETL pipelines • Build and optimize solutions using Python, PostgreSQL, and modern data-processing frameworks • Develop APIs and backend services using Flask or FastAPI • Implement data transformation workflows and ensure scalability and performance Qualifications • Required • Strong background in Python development • Experience with PostgreSQL • Proficiency with Flask or FastAPI • Experience with data transformation using modern data-processing frameworks • Preferred • Experience with Informatica • Background in scalable data transformation approaches
