About the department, section and position
ICT in DSB consists of 30 competent employees divided into 3 teams (Platform, Portfolio and Development). We have a robust and efficient IT function and are proud of what we do and contribute. We work closely with the various professional environments in DSB and have exciting and important development tasks. DSB's role and importance in society is reflected in our everyday work. Continuous competence development has a major focus.

Our application and data platform is entirely in Azure. We have deliberately chosen to invest in our own employees and have not used external ones to handle the transformation to Azure. We are proud of this choice and once again characterizes our competence and attractiveness. We continuously invest in further development and our choice of technologies and working methods make and will continue to make our IT environment attractive, for both employees and suppliers. If you become part of ICT at DSB, you will get professional challenges and development opportunities through courses and conferences. We are based in modern premises, centrally located by the canal and the pier in Tønsberg. We have a great canteen, a well-equipped gym and secure bicycle parking. We offer great flexibility around home work (up to 50% home work).

The ICT development team consists of a total of eight competent and committed developers. Smart and secure IT solutions, and the interaction between them, are increasingly important for DSB. As part of the development team, you will actively contribute to the solution portfolio supporting DSB's operations in an efficient and optimal way. DSB makes high demands on security and performance level, which is reflected in our operating and application environment.

On the application side, we have put together a modern architecture where our applications run in Azure Kubernetes. Efficient CI/CD pipelines ensure agile development and operation. The backend is largely based on Kotlin and Spring Boot, while the frontend is primarily developed in Vue.js. In addition, we have a number of solutions in .NET, including our Altinn 3 forms. As a data platform, we use Databricks, where we build ETL in Python notebooks packaged as bundles. Here, too, we naturally have good CI/CD pipelines that make development efficient and the path to production short.

We will find out together exactly where you fit into this landscape. The most important thing is probably that you have a developer background, are curious, willing to learn and professionally strong. We are preferably looking for candidates who can move across several areas and roles, but would love to hear from you if you have specialist expertise in one of them.

ICT in DSB is located in the Administration department which is responsible for HR, IT, financial and business management, the archive function and internal control. The department has around 70 employees.
