We are looking for 1 technician as soon as possible to work 10 - 22 hours per week

(permanent position) Organizational unit: Institute for Computer Graphics

Your tasks:

º Requirements planning, selection, operation and maintenance of the hardware and software systems

º Maintenance and support of the PC pools, networks and Internet services

º Support of the institute members in the use of these systems

º Support in the further development and administration of the institute websites (Jekyll/Github

Pages/Wordpress/Typo3)

º Administration of the AWS cluster and the institute's own server infrastructure (Linux)

º Technical organization of invited talks/live streams

º Implementation of smaller software solutions (in C++, Python, Java, etc.) desirable, but not

required

Yours Profile:

º Completed high school diploma or bachelor's degree

º Experience in system administration (Windows/Linux/MacOS)

º Experience in dealing with network and cloud systems (AWS, Cisco)

º Programming experience (web and application development) desirable

º Commitment

º Very good knowledge of German and English (German level C1, English Level B2)
