Description: We are a deep-tech company that creates and produces internationally awarded smart glasses. Our headquarters is in Vienna, where we develop and manufacture both the hardware and the software of the smart glasses.

From research & development, engineering, production to marketing and sales - we offer everything from a single source under one roof. This will give you exciting insights into other departments of the company. Although we have our roots in Austria, we are "born global" and work with customers and sales partners all over the world.

Tasks

What You'll Be Doing

* Test software as it's being built - and feed findings directly back to the developers

* Validate hardware in parallel, and test how software and hardware behave together

* Define test plans and test cases that reflect real product requirements - and get your hands dirty executing them

* Work in tight feedback loops with both software and hardware teams throughout the development cycle

* Track defects, report clearly, and stay on it until issues are properly resolved

* Hand off only when it's ready - your sign-off is what moves a product toward assembly and production'

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team

* Relevant testing experience - or equivalent certification (e.g. ISTQB)

* Solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies across software and hardware

* Basic knowledge of mechanics and electronics

* Hands-on experience with embedded platforms (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or similar)

* Familiarity with common digital interfaces and communication protocols (e.g. I2C, SPI, USB)

* Basic scripting skills, preferably Python - you can write a test script when needed

* You can read technical requirements and translate them into meaningful test scenarios
