Building on its partnerships with research and Fintech ecosystems, the bank has equipped itself, through its Data Science department, with a dynamic and innovative ecosystem around artificial intelligence aimed at optimizing the exploitation of data while relying on the strong financial and technical expertise of its businesses
As part of its development, the artificial intelligence department “Data Science Lab” (COE New Tech) is looking for an experienced Data Scientist.

CONCRETELY, YOUR MISSION AND YOUR DAILY?

Your mission will fall within this context and will consist of studying, proposing, prototyping and integrating Machine Learning and MLOps solutions applying to the various strategic Use Cases identified by the bank.

Your Mission will be organized as follows:

• Develop innovative Artificial Intelligence solutions in an Agile context ranging from ideation, to the development of the technical design, to the realization of the solution of AI and its industrialization.
• Participate in the development of simulation, experimentation (stresstesting, backtesting, modeling, etc.) and monitoring tools for Artificial Intelligence solutions.
• Contribute to the continued technological evolution of our DataScience environment by relying on our Fintech ecosystem as well as the AI ecosystem of the BNPParibas group.
• Contribute to the bank's strategic transformation plan by facilitating the integration of new technologies during the design of new products/services/processes of our businesses.
• Actively contribute to the bank's acculturation to new technologies in order to facilitate and accelerate their adoption.
• Actively contribute to our industrial R&D programs in collaboration with our research partners and participate in the bank's influence through the writing of scientific and academic articles.
• Ensure continuous technological monitoring in collaboration with our research partners and our Fintech ecosystem.

Your working environment

• Location: Luxembourg, Kirchberg
• Team of data scientists working in agile mode and mastering the entire production chain of an AI solution, from ideation to its validation
• Strong Interactions with the professions/Functions sponsors of the solution and with the IT teams in charge of integrating solutions (data engineer, architect, etc.)
• Position eligible for teleworking 1 to 2 days per week

ARE YOU OUR FUTURE Experienced Data Scientist?

Professional experience and/or diploma

Training: Bac +5 in science (physics, mathematics, computer science), ideally engineer profile

o Expertise in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI.
o Mastery of Python, SQL and collaborative development best practices.
o Solid experience with scikit-learn, Knowledge of AI agents, toolcalling, OCR, data extraction and vector bases.
o Experience in reinforcement learning, SFT, LoRA/QLoRA appreciated.
o Mastery of processing massive data with PySpark.
o Skills in data analysis and visualization.
o Experience in model industrialization: Docker, GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD, MLflow.
o Strong skills in software engineering: unit and integration testing, code quality, maintenance, documentation and good development practices.
o Knowledge of security, confidentiality and data governance issues.
