As an Underwriting Portfolio Analyst \\- Motor \\\& Household, you are part of the P\\\&C Underwriting division in the Portfolio Management team and actively shape the further development of Zurich Switzerland. You will use your skills to work with us to gain valuable insights from data and support the further development of our underwriting strategies. You combine analytical thinking with your knowledge of the market and our products in order to make well-founded decisions together with the team and optimally manage our portfolio. In close communication with colleagues from various areas, you will actively shape strategic initiatives and thus contribute to the sustainable development of our portfolio. \*\*This is what awaits you\*\* \* You will use your analytical skills and your knowledge of the market and non-life insurance products to develop solutions and manage the private customer portfolio together with various teams \* You will analyze our insurance portfolio in detail and, in consultation with others, identify targeted optimization opportunities \* Together with your team, you will develop and implement methods and tools that advance portfolio\\ analysis and \\ optimization \* You will support the definition and creation of Metrics, KPIs and dashboards to strengthen the data-based management of the department in the team \* You gain valuable insights from data and use them to further develop the underwriting strategy and achieve the set goals \*\*What sets you apart\*\* \* Completed university degree in economics or natural sciences, mathematics, statistics, data science or (business) informatics, or equivalent professional experience in the insurance industry \* Several years of experience in the non-life insurance business, ideally in portfolio analysis or product management, as well as a deep understanding of the most important value drivers and key performance indicators (KPIs); Additional experience in underwriting welcome \* Strong analytical and conceptual skills, strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly structure complex analyzes and prepare them for different stakeholders in a way that is appropriate for the target group \* Confident handling of relational databases, large amounts of data and at least one programming language (SQL or Python), experience in preparing data for well-founded business decisions; Actuarial knowledge is an advantage \* Very good knowledge of spoken and written German\\ and English \*\*Good to know\*\* Part-time or full-time: 70 \\- 100% Place of work: \[Oerlikon, Zurich\](\< \>) Start of position: from or by appointment Travel activity: None Hybrid work: up to 40% \*\*Everything about your application\*\* You can apply to us directly online in the first step \\- All you need is your CV.
