Description: The intelligence service - Knowledge of the world for the protection of Norway The mission of the intelligence service is to collect information and notify about conditions abroad that could threaten Norway and Norwegian interests. We are now looking for developers for our IMINT environment. IMINT (Imagery Intelligence) is about drawing critical observations and analyzes from images. Here you get to work at the intersection between satellite images, machine learning and large amounts of data. In our development team, we work with a modern stack that includes Angular, NodeJs, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Python and GDAL, as well as computer vision. In order to meet growing needs and further develop our systems, we are looking for you who are either a strong full-stack developer, or who have cutting-edge expertise and passion for specific parts of the stack. Women are encouraged to apply for the position. Your main task will be to develop and innovate our systems and tools for image analysis, which are absolutely crucial for our IMINT analysts. This entails: The position has the following requirements as must be fulfilled in order to be assessed as a relevant applicant: Senior engineer: Senior engineer: For both: For employment in the Intelligence Service, you cannot have anything other than Norwegian citizenship at the time of employment. The position is subject to a duty to be ordered, cf. the Defense Act and the Defense Personnel Regulations, which means that you can be ordered to international operations. This normally happens on the basis of willingness. Duty to order entails requirements for medical and physical fitness and basic knowledge of English. You will receive an annual salary within the range NOK 690,000 - 830,000 in the position of chief engineer (code: 1087) or NOK 785,000 - 980,000 in the position of senior engineer (1181) according to current Main Tariff Agreement.
