At Skøyen in Oslo, Oliasoft develops technology that changes the way the energy industry works. In just a few years, we have built one of the industry's most in-demand engineering tools for the design, planning and construction of wells, and now we are looking for our next Fullstack developer.

After several commercial and technological breakthroughs, we at Oliasoft are now in an exciting growth phase. The interest is great, and the platform will be further developed to meet the needs of an increasing number of global customers. Now we need you on the team!

The role

To meet the growing demand, we are looking for an experienced full stack developer. With us, you will thrive if you like to take ownership of technical choices, architecture and execution, and preferably have your greatest strength on the backend. At the same time, you are motivated by being part of the entire journey, from concept and design to implementation, testing and further development.

Work tasks:

• Develop and further develop scalable backend services and microservices.

• Build modern front-end solutions with React and TypeScript.

• Take an active role in system design, architecture and technical path choices.

• Develop reusable components and common functionality across our products.

• Ensure high quality through testing and modern development methodology.

• Work closely with product owners and skilled colleagues on new, innovative solutions.

We are looking for you who have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with software development

• Higher education in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL and modern frontend and backend frameworks

• Good understanding of system design, architecture and development processes

• Experience with Git, CI/CD and agile working methods

• Good English skills, written and spoken

It is also an advantage if you also have experience with some of this:

• High-performance and numerical programming in technologies such as C/C++, C#, Matlab, Python/Numpy, Octave or Julia

• Docker, Kubernetes or other relevant programming languages and technologies
