Type: Onsite

Employment: Full-time

Description: About Spares Group

Spares Group has grown from approximately SEK 90 to 820 million in turnover in five years and is today part of Clas Ohlson. The group includes Teknikdelar and Batteriexperten.

The company was founded in 2012 and today has approximately 80 employees, with headquarters in Malmö and a sales office in Stockholm.

Spares is in an exciting development phase where continued growth places high demands on efficient processes, strong operational management and a business that can scale. For the right person, this means great opportunities to both influence the business and grow with the company.

About the role

As Warehouse Operations Lead, you will have clear responsibility for the daily operations of the warehouse. You work closely with the COO/warehouse manager and ensure that staffing, priorities and workflows work from day to day.

You are present out in the business and lead by being close to the team. You follow up performance, handle deviations, solve problems when they arise and ensure that the right things are done in the right order.

A large part of the role is about creating structure and pace in everyday life. You need to be able to re-prioritize when volumes change, handle staffing issues, monitor productivity and quality and act quickly when something does not work as planned.

At the same time, you are expected to contribute to improving working methods and processes over time. It can be about identifying bottlenecks, proposing changes in workflows or, together with the COO/warehouse manager, driving smaller improvement initiatives.

This is therefore not a strategic desk role. It is an operational role where you make a difference by being close to the business and making daily operations work better.

Your main responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse
Ensure the right staffing based on volumes and needs
Prioritize tasks and allocate resources throughout the day
Monitor productivity, quality and delivery accuracy
Manage deviations, problems and rapid changes in the daily the operation
Be a present support for the employees on the warehouse floor
Ensure that routines and working methods are followed
Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities in the daily work
Contribute to more efficient processes and better workflows
Follow up relevant KPIs and act on deviations
Work closely with the COO/warehouse manager regarding priorities and development of the warehouse operations
Contribute to a culture of high responsibility, clarity and continuous improvement

Who are we looking for?

We believe you are at a stage where you have gained a good understanding of how a warehouse or logistics operation works in practice and now want to take on greater operational responsibility.

You are used to working closely with the business and thrive best when you can combine problem solving, work management and follow-up.

We believe you:

Have experience in warehouses, logistics or operations
Has experience in work management, team management or similar responsibilities
Is used to working in a business with a fast pace and changing volumes
Has an understanding of staffing, productivity and daily priorities
Is used to follow up KPI and operational results
Has a clear quality mindset and is quick to handle deviations
Is structured and keeps calm even when a lot is happening at the same time
Is prestige-free and enjoys being close to the operative business
Has high energy and execution power
Communicates clearly in Swedish and English

Experience from e-commerce is advantageous, but we are also open to candidates from, for example, retail, third-party logistics or other warehouse-intensive activities.

Personality and potential

For this recruitment, we will place great emphasis on drive, responsibility and potential.

We are looking for someone who wants to move forward, but who at the same time enjoys the operational craft. You don't have to have all the answers from the start, but you must be curious, solution-oriented and have a strong desire to develop.

You quickly see when something isn't working, tackle the problems and make sure things get done. At the same time, you are responsive, clear and good at getting others on board.

This is a role for an upcoming star who wants to build a strong foundation in operational leadership and gradually take on more responsibility as both you and the business develop.

Why Spares Group?

This is not a role where you are expected to do the same thing year after year.

For the right person, there is an opportunity to gradually grow in both responsibility and mandate at pace by showing what you can do.

At Spares you get:

Work very close to the COO and get an unusually broad exposure to how a fast-growing e-commerce company is run
Take concrete responsibility for a business where your improvements quickly get visible results
Participate in developing inventory and operations for the next phase of the company's growth
Work at the intersection between operations, e-commerce, technology and business
Get great personal responsibility while having an experienced operational leader to develop together with
Opportunity to gradually take on broader responsibility and eventually develop towards a more senior role in the company.

We are an entrepreneur-driven company where the decision-making paths are short, the pace is high and good ideas can quickly become reality.

Placement & application process

This is a full-time position with location at Spares Group's office in Malmö. The role is close to the business and therefore starts from the office and the operational activities.

The service starts according to agreement.

The recruitment process is handled by E-commerce Recruit. For questions about the role, please contact Nis Kehler at nis@ecommercerecruit.se.

We evaluate applications on an ongoing basis and look forward to hearing more about you, what you have achieved so far and where you want to take the next step.
