We are looking forWould you like to help shape the energy transition? Then you’ve come to the right place! We are a young but growing GreenTec company based in Regensburg and Munich, and we are currently looking for a motivated working student (m/f/d) in Energy Optimization & Development.
Your Responsibilities- Contributing to the further development of DynamicES, FlexA, CEMS, and future software solutions
- Assisting in the design of new features, optimization methods, and use cases
- Analysis, evaluation, and specification of business and technical requirements
- Creation and maintenance of business concepts, specifications, and product documentation
- Execution, documentation, and automation of software tests for quality assurance
- Creation and maintenance of test cases for new and existing functionalities
- Validation of simulation results and evaluation of optimization algorithms
- Conducting simulations, data analyses, and plausibility checks using DynamicES
- Preparation and presentation of analysis and simulation results
- Research into new technologies, market trends, and regulatory requirements in the energy sector
- Close collaboration with product management, development, and customers in the further development of our products
Your Profile- You are currently pursuing a degree in computer science, energy engineering, industrial engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field
- You have programming experience in Python and are familiar with version control systems such as Git
- You are passionate about the energy transition, energy systems, and innovative software solutions
- Ideally, you have some knowledge of renewable energy, energy management, or the energy industry
- You think analytically, work in a structured manner, and enjoy understanding complex relationships
- You have a strong technical understanding and an interest in data-driven solutions
- You work independently, are reliable, and take responsibility for your tasks
- You are a team player and stand out for your cooperative and solution-oriented approach to work
- You enjoy research, analysis, and solving technical problems
- You have very good German language skills (at least C1) as well as good English language skills (at least B2)
- Knowledge of data analysis is a plus
- You have an interest in optimization methods, mathematical models, and simulations
