The position is initially for 12 months Small projects are limited in accordance with the Science Temporary Contract Act (WissZeitVG). The opportunity to do a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

- Scientific collaboration in several small projects.
- Carrying out simulative considerations and test bench investigations

Requirements:

- Completed academic university studies in mechatronics. The required qualification must be available by the date of employment at the latest.
- CAD knowledge with the CreoParametrics software
- comprehensive knowledge of the MATLAB software and other tools from the modular system, such as MATLAB/Simlink, and Simscape
- further knowledge of the programming languages Python, Java, Enterprise Architect
- Experience in the design of electrical machines with Ansys MotorCAD
- Experience in the area of optimization methods and knowledge of the Pytorch libraries, Botorch, Pyro
- Experience in the field of test benches (hardware in the loop)
- Basic knowledge in the field of fluid dynamics, machine and rotor dynamics
- Basic knowledge in dealing with Aduino and Rasberry Pi hardware
- Knowledge of the MS Office software
- Comprehensive knowledge of the German language (at least C1 level) and English (at least B2 level) both spoken and written

The following are an advantage:

- Previous knowledge of signal and image processing
- thorough and independent working methods
- a high level of organizational skills
