At the Marburg location, we are looking for a research employee as a data scientist (m/f/d) for the Institute for Digital Medicine (m/f/d) for a temporary, full-time position as soon as possible. The data scientist position is part of an interdisciplinary team of doctors, health professionals, computer scientists, data scientists and scientists from health economics, law/data protection and ethics. The overarching goal is the scientifically based development, evaluation and integration of digital and AI-supported applications into medical care processes. We address applicants with: Completed academic university studies (master, diploma or comparable), e.g. B. in data science, computer science, medical informatics or a related quantitative field. Sound knowledge of statistics, machine learning and the methodically clean evaluation of predictive models; Proven experience in analyzing medical data Very good programming knowledge in Python and R and practical experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g. pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, B. with Matplotlib or Seaborn Experience with LLMs, RAG and the structured processing of medical guidelines; Experience with API-based deployment of models or services, e.g. B.
