Description: We are an IT consulting firm with expert staff in different areas of technology.

At BC Tecnología we manage portfolios, develop projects and offer outsourcing services and selection of professionals for clients in sectors such as financial services, insurance, retail and government. You will participate in strategic digital transformation initiatives for LATAM Airlines, a leading organization in the aeronautical industry, in an environment that combines remote work with occasional office presence. You will be part of the Architecture Management, collaborating in the definition of the business architecture and its evolution in the face of technological and business changes, ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy and governance standards.

Professional degree or recent graduate of Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering in Computing/Informatics, Network Engineering or related field. Experience: 0 to 2 years in the area (includes professional practice or demonstrable projects); Previous experience in the specific position is not required. Linux operating system: command line domain; administration of users, permissions and groups; systemd; package management; processes; file systems and LVM; logs (journald/syslog); performance diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Operate, maintain and improve the systems platform (Linux servers, containers and cloud services) that supports the CCS digital products, ensuring their availability, security and automation. Contributes to the stability of digital ecosystems by solving problems quickly and judiciously, rapidly developing technical skills to progressively assume greater responsibilities.

Main functions:

Manage, configure and maintain Linux servers and environments (Ubuntu/Debian and RHEL);
automate operational tasks through scripting (Bash, Python);
support the operation of containers and cloud platforms (Docker, Azure Container Apps/AWS);
monitor availability, performance and logs, addressing incidents on the front line;
apply hardening, patches and security updates under the principle of least privilege;
collaborate with development in the provision of environments;
contribute, under supervision, to infrastructure as code;
execute and verify backups and restores;
document runbooks and configurations as code;
use AI assistants for diagnosis and automation, verifying results before applying them in production;
apply IT architecture standards, scaling deviations.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Certifications: LPIC-1, LFCS or RHCSA (Linux); AZ-900/AZ-104 (Azure) or AWS Cloud Practitioner. Technical English (reading documentation). Networks: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, firewall (iptables/nftables/ufw), reverse proxy (Nginx), TLS certificates. Scripting and automation: intermediate-advanced level Bash and basic Python; Ansible or other configuration management tool. Containers and cloud: Docker; Kubernetes notions; knowledge of Azure (Container Apps) and/or AWS. Observability: monitoring, metrics and logs (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana or other equivalents). Databases: Sybase administration (SAP ASE) — installation, users/permissions, backups, monitoring and basic tuning. Agentic development: use of AI assistants (Claude Code, Codex or others) for scripting and diagnosis. Demonstrable personal projects (homelab, own servers, open source contributions) or professional practice in infrastructure/systems support.
