This is what awaits you

You ensure the scalability, maintainability and reliability of our entire pipeline
You develop and improve our productive software systems
You make architectural and design decisions together with the team and ensure clean, future-proof technical solutions
You design, train and integrate machine learning models into productive applications (APIs, pipelines and services)
You work on computer vision applications (documents, images, layout, OCR-related topics) as well as graph neural networks for complex structures
You evaluate modern machine learning approaches (classic ML, deep learning, multimodal foundation models) and use them pragmatically and purposefully
You work closely with the product and business team to implement requirements into practical AI solutions

That's what defines you

You have completed a degree in computer science, software engineering, computer science, AI, mathematics or a comparable training in this field
You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a software developer (m/f/d) and have experience in implementing complex software projects
You have very good knowledge of Python development (C++ knowledge is an advantage)
You have in-depth and broad knowledge in the area of machine learning and practical experience with ML models and algorithms (supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning)
You are familiar with computer vision or would like to delve deeper into this area and have a good understanding of multimodal approaches (text + image)
Ideally, you are familiar with OCR, document processing or layout analysis
You can solve complex technical topics in a structured manner and integrate them in a way that is ready for production
You are motivated, structured and consistently get things done - you take ownership and deliver reliably
You are a team player and communicate openly, clearly and solution-oriented
You have very good knowledge of German and English
