• Experience of at least 5 years in backend development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in applied AI/ML (agents, RAG, LLMs, prompt engineering).
• Deep mastery of NestJS (modules, controllers, services, dependency injection, guards, interceptors, exception filters, Swagger/OpenAPI, configuration and testing).
• Experience with Advanced TypeScript and Node.js (streams, I/O, child processes, event loop).
• Knowledge of Python 3.10+ (async, type hints, dataclasses, pydantic) for AI components.
• Familiarity with Strands Agents SDK (or LangGraph/CrewAI), FastAPI/Flask and pytest for Python.
• Experience in Prompt Engineering (system prompts, few-shot, chain-of-thought, function calling) and RAG (embeddings, chunking, hybrid search, re-ranking).

We are looking for an AI Engineer with a hybrid profile that combines solid experience in AI/ML engineering with backend development. You will be responsible for the NestJS BFF and all the platform's backend logic, while designing and validating key AI components. In this role, you will be expected to use Artificial Intelligence tools to support your work, always maintaining rigorous technical criteria, deep analytical capacity and an unwavering focus on the quality of solutions.

Main functions

• Be the owner of the NestJS BFF and all the platform's backend logic.
• Design and validate artificial intelligence components, including boilerplates. agents.
• Implement and maintain the MCP Framework + SDK.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines.
• Create and manage eval frameworks for AI models.
• Ensure effective integration with Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore.
• Collaborate in the definition of memory strategies and multi-agent orchestration.
• Apply guardrails to ensure responsible and governed use of AI.
