The public purchasing platform managed by Chilecompra: www.mercadopublico.cl is the largest e-commerce transactional site in Chile. There, public services make their purchases through almost 2 million purchase orders a year, for more than 16 billion dollars, allowing business opportunities for more than 120 thousand suppliers. So our service is critical for the functioning of the State of Chile.

Currently, we are promoting a modernization strategy to generate greater efficiency in purchases and public spending, through the renewal of platforms and services such as the framework agreement store in Magento and new systems that facilitate decision making, monitoring and evaluation of purchasing processes. This transformation includes the move from a traditional architecture based on a physical data center and monolithic systems, towards a multi-cloud software architecture, with both physical and cloud backups.

Professional title obtained from a degree of at least 8 semesters in duration, in the field of Commercial Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or similar, from an institution recognized by the State of Chile.

Desirable:
Specialization in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Process Management, Automation, RPA or Artificial Intelligence applied to business.

• Minimum work experience required:

At least 3 years of experience in areas associated with supplier or client portfolio management, commercial management advice, or supplier development projects.

• Desirable work experience:

- Experience in market analysis, operation of digital platforms or e-commerce.
- Experience in automating operational tasks using RPA or automatic flows.
- Experience leading digital transformation or automation projects.

The role focuses on designing, implementing and managing strategies and initiatives aimed at strengthening the participation of suppliers in the public procurement system, through the administration of the National Registry of Suppliers and the electronic catalogs of Framework Agreements, promoting continuous improvement, process optimization and the use of data analytics, in order to enhance operational efficiency and service quality of the Chilecompra Directorate. To do this, you must:

1. Know and characterize the State's suppliers by segment, identifying their needs, characteristics and behavior within the public procurement system, and defining objectives and lines of work aimed at strengthening efficiency, probity and transparency in their participation in the system.
2. Design and implement strategies that promote the participation of supplier users in the public procurement system.
3. Support the design, structuring and evaluation of new Agreements. Marco, collaborating in the definition of its strategy, business rules and award processes.
4. Guarantee the correct functioning of the Framework Agreements portfolio, verifying compliance with contracts based on what is established in each agreement.
5. Manage and monitor the operation of the National Registry of Suppliers, ensuring its correct functioning through information monitoring, background verification, gap management and support for supplier users in the administration of the Registry.
6. Manage strategic information of suppliers.
