This knowledge is essential to advance the process:
5+ years of experience as a software or data engineer.
Solid and verifiable experience as a Senior Java Backend developer.
Practical experience working with Apache Kafka in real projects.
Experience building producers, consumers or integrations on Kafka topics.
Experience developing, designing or integrating APIs.
Experience in projects with real-time data processing (streaming).
Experience integrating different systems through services, APIs and/or events.
Ability to work on backend solutions oriented to data processing and synchronization.
Important: We are not looking for a profile based solely on Java + Python + Spark or on batch processes. Hands-on experience with Kafka + APIs + streaming is essential for this role.

SingleStore experience or knowledge. Experience with Apache Flink or other streaming technologies and real-time analytics. Experience working with other real-time data processing platforms. 📌 Experience
5+ years of experience as a software or data engineer, with senior experience in backend development with Java.
We are looking for a Backend Data Engineer (Java) with solid experience in backend development and real-time data processing to participate in a banking core migration project to the cloud. The challenge combines Java, APIs, Apache Kafka and streaming architectures, building the technical pieces that allow information to be moved and synchronized in real time between the banking core and the new cloud platform.
🎯 Responsibilities
Design, develop and implement backend APIs that connect the banking core with the new cloud architecture.
Build and maintain real-time data flows (streaming).
Develop producers and consumers using Apache Kafka.
Design integrations through topics, events and backend services.
Contribute to the synchronization of information between systems without depending exclusively on batch processes.
Participate in the construction and evolution of Java-based backend services.
Work with databases and data platforms according to the defined architecture.
Participate in the implementation of solutions oriented to real-time data processing and movement.
Collaborate with architects, developers and other technical teams to implement the defined solutions.
Apply good development practices, code quality, integration and maintainability.
