einklang is the intelligent energy supplier for medium-sized businesses. We reduce the energy costs of industrial and commercial customers by combining energy procurement and intelligent battery storage.

Our heart is einklang OS: the platform that connects battery storage at industrial sites with the electricity markets. Volatile electricity prices therefore turn from a risk into a competitive advantage for our customers.

Tasks

You sit on the core team of einklang OS together with product and energy experts. The platform combines two worlds:

1. Energy management—forecast, optimization, battery control

2. Energy procurement—power procurement and electricity trading

It is the combination that allows us to get the most out of the battery and achieve significantly more savings per location.

Specifically for you:

• You improve our optimization and trading in quick iterations and keep operations stable
• You take our solution to the next level and make decisions, even under uncertainty.
• You keep an eye on the entire system: from the customer location to the market interface.
• You make operations and savings measurable: monitoring, alerting, reporting.

How we work with AI:

We are AI-first and mean it seriously: coding agents, LLM-supported workflows and automation are everyday life for us, not experiments.

We are looking for speed with depth. An agent's output is only as good as the person checking it.

Qualification

What you bring with you

• You want to understand and think about the product and not just complete individual tasks
• You like close collaboration: giving and receiving direct feedback, iterating together instead of perfecting alone
• Experience in building and operating productive backend systems
• Python, SQL, containers and a cloud environment (e.g. AWS) sit
• You work routinely with coding agents and critically check their output: speed without loss of control
• Fluent in German and English

Advantageous, not a must

No one brings everything with them. With us you will learn a lot about a wide variety of topics while you already have real responsibility.

• CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Monitoring
• Time series data and forecast models
• Energy markets
• Mathematical optimization (LP/MILP, solver)
• Edge and field connection (Modbus TCP, MQTT, IEC 60870-5-104)
• Interest in game theory or trading of any kind
• Experience in a startup: short distances, a lot of personal responsibility
