Description: E-Motion develops The Grid, a Sim Racing platform connected to simulation centers, simulators and its services. It covers the race in real time: performance data, sessions, rankings and feedback to drivers and centers. The position covers the technical base of this platform.
Your mission: Design, develop and make the application building blocks of the platform more reliable, from real-time processing to restitution interfaces. The confirmed developer takes strong responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the data, the robustness and maintainability of the product. It also contributes to the controlled use of AI development agents, with systematic human review.
Your main responsibilities:


Develop the building blocks for collecting and processing race data in real time.


Contribute to a reliable distributed architecture: services, synchronization, deployment, supervision.


Guarantee data reliability: integrity, accuracy, traceability, recovery after error.


Develop and upgrade the UIs intended for drivers, centers and operators.


Set and maintain standards for code, tests, documentation and technical reviews.


Use AI development agents to accelerate delivery, with systematic human review.


Profile sought: - Confirmed developer, autonomous and comfortable on a complete technical base.


Strong mastery of the back-end: Python, APIs, databases, authentication, integrations.


Real time or near real time experience and good understanding of distributed architectures.


Front/web development: ability to design and increase the complexity of interfaces.


Quality culture: tests, CI/CD, code review, monitoring, useful documentation.


Agentic development practice appreciated: Claude Code, Codex or equivalent.


Soft skills: - Passion for virtual racing (strongly desired): credible tester of the product, capable of judging racing data and making it progress in real conditions.


Accuracy and rigor: refusal of approximations on the reliability of data.


Autonomy and resourcefulness: knows how to investigate and move forward without expecting everything from a spec.


Sense of the field: think robustness and simplicity for non-technical users.


Pragmatism and product meaning: arbiter between the technical ideal and the useful.


Indicative stack: Python, APIs, real-time processing, Postgres, docker, Github, CI/CD, automated tests, React, Typescript, Drizzle.
