Assignment description
We are looking for an experienced software engineer with extensive experience and independence in developing and maintaining applications and automation scripts, with the ambition to further develop in the field of CI/CD (GitLab CI, ArgoCD). You help build and manage in an agile team setting. You work on integrating various tools into generic CI/CD solutions and provide support where necessary with other services of the CI/CD platform.
You are part of the technical heart of the CICD platform team with a focus on further developing, managing and automating the central CI/CD platform (GitLab) and additional tools (including Harbor, Artifactory, SonarQube). You apply various scripting every day (YML, Bash, Python or Go). You can be given a role in setting up a Developer Portal (Backstage). You ensure that the current work is organized more efficiently (automate) and you further develop the skillset of a Platform engineer.
Background assignment
The Software Release Support (SRO) team provides generic technical solutions that enable DevOps teams to automate their work process to a high degree. The customers are potentially all DevOps teams within DICTU. The variety of technologies and end customers is large and makes the playing field challenging and dynamic.
Activities
- Developing, managing and automating the central CI/CD platform (GitLab) and additional tools.
- Integrating tools into generic CI/CD solutions.
- Supporting other services of the CI/CD platform where necessary.
- Daily application of scripting (YML, Bash, Python or Go).
- Possibly setting up a Developer P.
