Entur is a technology company with high ambitions and low shoulders. We work to create solutions for everyone who travels by public transport in Norway. We will make it easier for more people to travel by public transport.

In the Settlement product area we work with things that travelers may not think much about, but which are absolutely essential: that you get paid for your ticket when you travel by bus or train. That public transport companies that cooperate can distribute the ticket revenue. That data from ticket sales is turned into something useful for those who work with finances, reporting and follow-up of ticket sellers. In the settlement area, we are 30 people divided into four, fine teams. We are now looking for an experienced data analyst who likes complexity, for one of the teams in the area: Team Avregning.

Your most important areas of responsibility and tasks:

• Be an analyst in a multidisciplinary product team at the same time as you have a professional community with other data analysts in a dedicated data analysis team.
• Analyze and prioritize needs and issues as well as make technical trade-offs together with the team.
• Build, automate and manage data flow, orchestration and transformations in the cloud using SQL-based tools.
• Analyze small and large amounts of data and build solid models through transformation.
• Visualize and communicate analyzes in an understandable way to both technical and non-technical partners.
• Create and manage data products that meet the users' needs.
• Get familiar with the domain and understand the laws and regulations that affect the data products.

Your team:

As a data analyst in Entur, you are employed in Team Dataanalysis. Here you are part of a strong professional environment in the Data & Insights area, consisting of approximately 10 people who work with analytics, data science and data engineering.

At the same time as you are employed in Team Data Analysis, you will spend most of your time in Team Avregning, which is part of the Settlement area. We create solutions for employees in Entur who work with accounting and finance, as well as for finance departments at our partners. The team is well established and consists of team/product manager, tech lead, solution architect and 7 system developers. We collaborate with other product teams in Entur and Entur's experts on income distribution and settlements. As the only one with your professional background in Team Avregning, you must be professionally independent while at the same time enjoying working with colleagues from other professional backgrounds.

Our product, CLEOS, is absolutely invaluable for the distribution of income and for the accounting of all sales and payments of tickets. In fact, all sales and payments from Entur's sales platform go through our system, which means that we settle all train journeys throughout Norway, and a great many bus and ferry journeys.

We deal with complex business rules and challenging value chains that use data from many different sources, so here it is an advantage to have a handle on processing large amounts of data. At the same time, our end users process our data in various ways, both via GUI, APIs and data products in BigQuery. With a complex domain and a large technical solution that handles large amounts of data, we in Team Avregning are always learning something new!

You fit with us if you:

• Have a few years of work experience with processing and analyzing data with SQL-based tools. If you have experience with BigQuery and databases, we hit the mark.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI or Python
• Experience with automated data orchestration, version-controlled data models and monitoring of pipelines in collaboration with colleagues with tools such as Dataform or Airflow.
• Get familiar with long and wide data sets, design good data products and data models
• Have good routines around task solving, quality assurance and see consequences of solution choices
• Has higher education in information technology or equivalent
• Speaks and writes Norwegian well, since the working language at Entur is Norwegian
