For the ART Network Forecast & Network Design within the System Optimization team, a temporary assignment will be available for approximately 6 months.
A great challenge has arisen within the System Optimization team! We are immediately looking for a Senior Data/Software Engineer with a great affinity for data and data modeling, who will ideally join this great team from Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.
What are you going to do?
You have come for a specific assignment. Our data model that serves various applications needs a redesign. This team has an extensive Python codebase and you are responsible for: - Redesigning our data model; - Developing, maintaining and further developing the existing codebase - Reviewing, refactoring and improving code with an eye for quality, performance and maintainability - Collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to convert analytical logic into robust software - Writing and maintaining automated tests (e.g. Pytest) - Active coordination with colleagues within and outside the team Form
What do you bring? - Data modeling: At least 9 years of demonstrable experience in modeling large complex data models. - Python expertise: At least 9 years of practical experience with Python (including object-oriented), experience with NumPy and modern test frameworks such as Pytest. You write clear, reliable, testable and scalable code (on AWS, according to CDK). - Tools and frameworks: Experience with tools such as Kubernetes, FastAPI, Django, Docker and PostgreSQL. - Code review and refactoring: Experience in reviewing and improving complex code bases, providing constructive feedback and reviewing code from other disciplines (e.g. data...
