As a data engineer within the ICT department of Pure Energie, you play an important role in managing and further developing our data infrastructure. You build robust and scalable data solutions that help colleagues across the organization work with reliable data and make better decisions.
From ICT you work for various parts of Pure Energie, including Trading. Together with data analysts, application managers and other colleagues, you translate data needs into smart pipelines, integrations and data models. You improve and automate existing processes and think about new applications within our data landscape. This way you ensure that data is available, usable and reliable.
What your responsibilities are
- Design, build and maintain reliable and scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. - Manage and optimize our Azure SQL databases and other parts of the data platform. - Developing data integrations and transformations with Python, SQL and where appropriate (Py) Spark. - Implementing, monitoring and managing data solutions within the Azure landscape. - Collaborate with data analysts, application managers and business colleagues to translate data needs into working solutions. - Guaranteeing the quality, integrity, availability and security of data.
What we expect from you
- WO working and thinking level. - At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a data engineer or in a similar position. - Experience with SQL, Python, ETL processes and data integration. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - You communicate clearly and collaborate easily with both technical and non-technical colleagues. - Experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory is an advantage. - Experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, SSMS and/or (Py)Spar...
