Your impact as a Data Engineer
In this role you are indispensable in strengthening our data chain. You develop, manage and optimize scalable data solutions and help build new data-driven applications. You ensure that data is available reliably, securely and scalably for analyses, dashboards, predictive models and data-driven decision-making. You develop and manage data pipelines and data integrations within our modern data ecosystem and work with technologies such as Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics and Python/PySpark. You play an important role in the further development of a modern data platform with which data-driven applications, predictive models and future AI solutions can be deployed in a scalable and manageable manner. You work in a multidisciplinary data and IT landscape in which data engineering, BI and data-driven innovation are increasingly coming together.
The Data Engineer operates at the intersection of BI and IT and reports hierarchically to the IT Manager, Dirk-Jan Zethof.
