Description: Responsibilities: Scope of responsibilities:
design and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for business systems;
development and optimization of Data Warehouse, including data modeling, partitioning, indexing and performance tuning;
collaboration with BI teams and analysts to ensure high quality, consistency and availability of data;
creating and managing data flows (Dataflows) and Lakehouse architecture in the Microsoft Fabric environment;
ensuring compliance with the rules regarding tracking data origins (data lineage), documentation and data governance;
monitoring the operation of the data platform and diagnosing and solving problems related to its efficiency and reliability.
Flexible working hours (6:15-8:30).
Requirements:
- education: higher education (including bachelor's degree) - desired
- skills: SQL language - necessary
- foreign languages: English - speaking: B2 - upper intermediate, writing: B2 - upper intermediate - necessary
- other: min. 3 years of experience in the area of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing or data platform development;
very good knowledge of SQL and experience in creating reliable ETL/ELT processes;
practical experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric;
fluent knowledge of spoken and written English (min. B2);
in-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema and best practices in data warehouse design;
knowledge of Data Governance principles, data security and compliance requirements;
excellent communication skills;
ability to work effectively both independently and in a team;
preferred higher education (IT or related).
Knowledge of Python, CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) is welcome.
