Your role

Main activities

* Acoustics: Carrying out independent electroacoustic measurements on innovative components with application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) in a low-reflection room or in special measurement boxes

* Laboratory equipment: use of professional laboratory measurement technology, for example from Audio Precision, as well as oscilloscopes, signal generators and spectrum analyzers

* Audio validation: testing of important audio specifications, including signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), total harmonic distortion (THD) and frequency responses

* Automation: support in the more efficient design of measurement processes with MATLAB or Python

* Data preparation: Precise recording of the measurement results and preparation for the development team

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed

* Training: You will successfully meet the requirements if you are a motivated and committed student in the fields of electrical engineering, information technology, physics, media technology, acoustics or similar

* Technical skills: First points of contact with analog and digital circuit technology, including application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), as well basic understanding of acoustics and signal processing

* Practical experience: ideally initial laboratory experience and programming knowledge, for example in Python or MATLAB

* Working method: structured and detail-oriented way of working as well as enjoyment of experimenting

* Language skills: good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an advantage
