At Servicio Latam we are looking for a Freelance IT Support Engineer (desk role) to provide support to our clients in Buenos Aires
 The engineer will be responsible for offering in-person technical support when required.
 This is a freelance and on-demand opportunity, ideal for IT professionals looking for flexibility and additional income.

Minimum requirements

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Java, JavaScript, C# or other relevant.
• Basic management of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and/or non-relational (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Understanding of programming-oriented concepts.objects (OOP) and data structures.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (for web roles).
• Interest in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Level of technical English for reading documentation.

Desirable

• Previous experience in professional practices, university or personal projects related to software development.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as React,Angular, Django, Spring Boot, .NET Core, among others.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker) or cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic knowledge of unit testing (JUnit, PyTest, Jest, etc.).

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for Observability Engineers with at least one year of experience, passionate about technology, automation and continuous improvement.You will be part of a dynamic team that works on the monitoring, analysis and optimization of critical systems and applications to ensure their performance, availability and reliability.

• Design and implement observability strategies to guarantee the visibility and performance of systems and applications.
• Instrument applications and infrastructure for the efficient collection of metrics, logs and distributed traces.
• Define and configure effective alerts for the early detection of incidents.
• Analyze and support the resolution of performance and availability problems in collaboration with development, operations and support teams.
• Optimize monitoring coverage,identifying areas of improvement and proposing technical solutions.
• Maintain clear and updated technical documentation on architectures, configurations and procedures.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies that strengthen the organization's observability capabilities.
