Description: Khipu offers a semi-automated bank transfer service, the safest, fastest and simplest way to pay and collect online, allowing more than 3 million Chileans to pay and collect, only a bank account is necessary.

We are looking for Senior Full-stack Development Engineers with a passion for programming in multiple languages, platforms and architectures, who are willing to research, innovate, learn and teach. We value concern for code quality and rigorous testing to ensure software meets requirements.

Ability to deliver realistic time estimates, meet commitments, and communicate difficulties in a calm and timely manner is required. Collaboration skills, teamwork, learning speed, and habits of asking for and giving help are highly valued.

As for technical skills, we handle languages such as Java, Kotlin, Python, Groovy, TypeScript, Swift and Go, and frameworks such as Spring, Micronaut and Grails. Although they are not exclusive, a rapid ability to learn new languages is expected. The candidate must be able to design and develop both the pieces of software and the associated tests, work in both front-end and back-end, master several languages, understand the operation of the website and its protocols, in addition to having knowledge of the use of artificial intelligence applied to software development.

The schedule is flexible, with a 40-hour work week. In addition, the candidate must commit to attending alarm guards for approximately one week every two months.

In 2024, it processes more than 3.2 billion dollars and more than 4 million payment operations monthly, being a small organization with less than 60 people. Functions of the position

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing software from the initial design to its maintenance in both front-end and back-end, working with the different programming languages and platforms used by Khipu.

You must actively collaborate with the team, researching, innovating, learning and sharing knowledge. You will be expected to propose solutions, debate ideas in an environment of mutual respect, and advance your professional career in software development.

The role requires taking full responsibility for all parts of the software developed, including quality assurance and extensive testing.

Optional knowledge

Knowledge of containers and microservices, ideally Kubernetes, is an advantage. Experience in cryptography, cloud architectures (AWS, Google Cloud, OCI, IBM Cloud), machine learning is also desirable, as well as experience solving highly transactional problems.
