The teams evolve in a stimulating technological environment, promoting the sharing of expertise and conviviality.
The position:
You will participate in the study, development and validation of designs based on FPGA components integrated into cybersecurity systems, ensuring compliance with the functional and technical requirements of the specifications.
Your responsibilities include:
- Study new technologies and applications on FPGA/SoC targets.
- Participate to the definition of FPGA architectures for new products.
- Develop IPs in RTL on FPGA (Altera/Xilinx).
- Participate in the design, synthesis, routing and validation phases.
- Write specification, design and validation documentation for the developments carried out.
- Develop the FPGA test software in a bare-metal environment.
- Contribute to the integration and qualification.
- Design high-speed IP (PCle, Ethernet, DDR4).
- Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash or Tcl.
Expected deliverables:
- Specification, design and validation documentation.
- FPGA test software.
- Automation scripts.
You will collaborate closely with expert teams in architecture, development, validation and integration, in an environment where compliance with functional and technical requirements is essential.
Concrete examples of missions:
- Develop an IP in RTL on FPGA Xilinx and write the associated design documentation.
- Participate in the definition of the FPGA architecture of a new product in collaboration with the architecture team.
- Develop an automation script in Python to facilitate the validation of the FPGA design.
- Integrate and qualify FPGA test software in a bare-metal environment.
Mastery of FPGA design, RTL development, FPGA synthesis, core IP development and FPGA validation is essential to ensure the design, implementation and validation of complex electronic solutions meeting cybersecurity challenges. These skills revolve around the ability to design robust architectures, to develop high-performance IP and to guarantee the quality of deliverables in a context of technological innovation.
Required profile:
Mandatory profile:
- Bac+5 diploma (engineering school or university) in electronics, electrical engineering or embedded systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in FPGA design and development.
- Master's degree in the FPGA/SoC environment.
- Mastery of RTL languages (VHDL, Verilog).
- Mastery of FPGA IP development.
- Mastery of synthesis and routing tools (Altera/Xilinx).
- Knowledge of C development, Linux, bare-metal and scripting (Python, Bash, Tcl).
Desired profile / assets :
- Experience on high-speed interfaces (PCle, Ethernet, DDR4).
- Experience in complex environments linked to cybersecurity or embedded systems.
Mastery of VHDL, Verilog, Altera, Xilinx, Python, Bash, Tcl, Linux, as well as PCle and DDR4 technologies, is essential to successfully carry out the role's missions. Secondary skills such as architecture definition, interface design, bare-metal development, technical documentation writing, test software development and scripting practice ensure a global and effective approach to FPGA development. The combined use of these complementary tools and skills promotes the automation of tasks, the robustness of designs and the quality of deliverables in a demanding and innovative environment.
