Description: STCAM SÉCURITÉ designs, integrates and maintains technological solutions for professionals: video surveillance, alarm, access control, networks, sound system, dynamic display and IoT.

As part of our development and the creation of new proprietary solutions, we are looking for an R&D Engineer specialized in IoT, video and Artificial Intelligence.

You will participate in the design and development of solutions combining IoT, intelligent video surveillance, AI, Edge Computing, Cloud and data, from prototyping to industrialization.
Your main missions:

* Design IoT architectures to connect, supervise and control IP cameras, NVRs, sensors, alarms, access controllers, network equipment and connected objects, and interoperable gateways between manufacturers.

* Design and integrate intelligent video surveillance solutions: detection people/vehicles/objects, counting, intrusion, lane crossing, abnormal events, real-time analysis, alerts and intelligent search.

* Develop or integrate Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning solutions for real-time video analysis, with Python, OpenCV, YOLO, PyTorch, TensorFlow and ONNX/ONNX Runtime.

* Design Edge AI architectures (Camera → Edge → AI → Network → Cloud → Platform): Edge video processing, model optimization, GPU/NVIDIA/CUDA/Jetson, latency/bandwidth reduction and intelligent event transmission.
* Participate in the design of STCAM infrastructures and platforms: Linux, Docker, virtualization, private/public/hybrid cloud, video storage, databases, backup/replication, monitoring, high availability, API and securing exchanges.

* Develop R&D tools and services: backends, REST API, IoT services, Web, dashboards, supervision, video processing, alerts, automations and third-party connectors, in Python, C/C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and Git.

* Contribute to securing solutions using a Security by Design approach: API, authentication, rights, encryption, certificates, IoT equipment, video, Cloud and vulnerabilities.

* Create POCs, prototypes and demonstrators, test/compare architectures, measure performance, optimize, document and support industrialization. Ensure monitoring of IoT, AI, Computer Vision, Edge Computing, Cloud, cybersecurity and IP video.

Technological environment:
IoT: MQTT, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, TCP/IP, ONVIF, RTSP, Ethernet.
AI/Vision: Python, OpenCV, YOLO, PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX/ONNX Runtime.
Video: IP cameras, NVR, VMS, H.264/H.265, streaming.
Edge: NVIDIA Jetson, GPU, CUDA, real time.
Development: Python, C/C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Git.
Infrastructure: Linux, Docker, CI/CD, virtualization, Cloud.
Data: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, InfluxDB.

Mastery of these technologies is not essential. We are looking for an engineer capable of learning quickly, developing and solving complex technical problems.
