Do you want to help shape the creators and technologists of the future?
Information technology and media production at Mysen upper secondary school is a future-oriented education program that combines creativity, technology and practical learning. Our students work with, among other things, programming, IT operations, content production, photography, film, design and digital media. We are looking for a committed member of staff who wants to inspire young people, contribute to an inclusive learning environment and develop teaching that is relevant for today's and tomorrow's working life.

Mysen upper secondary school is a large and diverse school with around 1050 pupils, 11 education programmes, organized training and training within the correctional service. Over time, we have worked systematically with relationships, student participation and assessment along the way. In the coming period, we will especially further develop the work with clear frameworks and a safe structure, customized training and grading along the way as systematic guidance.

Work tasks

• Teaching in programming and development, mainly along the lines of Information Technology and media production.

Qualifications

• Relevant education. For example: Computer engineer Bachelor in information technology, bachelor in informatics - design and development of IT systems.
• One or more industry-relevant programming languages (e.g. python, C#, Javascript).
• Completed PPU or vocational teacher training.
• Experience with web development HTML, CSS, Javascript, Databases SQL.

Applicants without approved pedagogical education will also be considered, and will be able to be hired on terms if none applicants meet the formal requirements.

• Personal suitability will be emphasized.

100% temporary work for 6 months, with possibilities for extension.

Form of employment: Temporary.
Working hours: Daytime.
