What you need to know about us?
We are Athora Netherlands, an insurance company with the well-known brands Zwitserleven and Reaal. We mainly deal with pensions and life insurance on the Dutch market. We do this as part of a European group with branches in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany and Italy. We are a strong company with more than one million customers and we want to grow into one of the most important players in the rapidly changing pension market in the coming years. What are you going to do?
The Pricing & Profitability team is responsible for multiple workflows within pricing, data preparation and profitability analyses, including buyouts, annuity products, collective DC products and DB calculations.
An important part of the work is in setting up participant files, fund connections, principles, cash flows and model input before these are processed in the central C# pricing model. Your job is to make these processes robust, reproducible and maintainable.
You start within the buyout workflow, where steps are already being taken with Python scripts, but the role is expressly intended to be broader. From that start, you also help other workflows to take over existing Excel and analysis processes, convert them into robust Python solutions and ensure that these solutions are practically usable and are actually applied in the team.
You work closely with the Buy-out team, actuarial consultants, pricing specialists and colleagues who work on the C# model, Python solutions and possibly Databricks pipelines.
With your efforts you contribute to higher quality, shorter lead times, less manual work and a better connection between data preparation, cash flow determination and model calculation.
