Description: You develop and maintain the software that controls modern processing lines and factories. As a PLC/HMI Software Engineer you program object-oriented in Sigmatek LASAL and work with Structured Text. You test and optimize software in the factory, support on-site or remote commissioning and work closely with engineering, service and projects. You use Git for version control and automate tasks with Typical Manager and Python scripts. You will have room for innovative ideas such as unit testing, web-based HMIs or IoT data. The location is Emmeloord; occasional travel in Europe and to the United States is possible. You work in a modern building with clear employment conditions and development opportunities.
Job content
- You are technically responsible for the automation of production lines and machines, and develop object-oriented PLC/HMI software in Sigmatek LASAL.
- You write new software, perform tests in our factory and optimize code based on test results and practical findings.
- You support commissioning on location or remotely and resolve malfunctions during start-up and test operation quickly and purposefully. op.
- You build and maintain the software library, use Git for version control and automate work with Typical Manager and Python scripts.
Job requirements
- You have a completed higher professional education in a technical field and at least three years of experience as a PLC/software engineer.
- Experience with programming in Structured Text and object-oriented design; experience with Sigmatek LASAL is a clear advantage.
- You work accurately, document your work well and clearly substantiate functional and technical choices to colleagues and customers.
- Good command of Dutch and English and willingness to occasionally travel to customers in Europe or the United States.
We offer
- Salary between €3,559 and €5,954 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and function-in
