About the Battery business

At our battery facility, we work with the recycling of lithium ion batteries from electric cars and the automotive industry in a modern and technically advanced production environment. The plant is an important part of Stena Recycling's investment in circular solutions and enables valuable metals and materials to be recycled and used again, instead of new raw materials being mined. The plant combines established industrial processes with new technology and is in constant development. Here there is a great focus on safety, quality and improvement work, and the work takes place in close collaboration between production, maintenance and technology.

About the role

As a Process Engineer, you will be a key person in the business. You work closely with production, maintenance and our technical engineering team – consisting of a technical manager and two technical specialists. Together you develop processes, drive improvement initiatives and create conditions for constantly taking the next step in material processing.

Your main tasks

    Lead and drive improvement work
    Plan, carry out and follow up test runs and analyze material outcomes
    Develop and document process settings together with production
    Identify bottlenecks, critical process steps and improvement areas
    Work based on facts with root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving

Qualifications - Requirements

    Engineering education
    Very good knowledge of Office
    Swedish and English spoken and written
    B driving license

Qualifications - Meritorious

    Mechanical, process‑ or quality-oriented background
    1-3 years of relevant experience
    Experience in an industrial environment
    Experience of LEAN, improvement work or downtime follow-up
    Experience in automation or digitization
