Description: We are looking for an intern in Operations & Business Development (4-6 months) who is curious about building and developing companies in practice.

In the role, you will work closely with the team at Birger with internal projects, business development, operational initiatives and strategic work linked to company building and growth. It can be about improving internal processes, developing workflows, analyzing new business opportunities, supporting acquisition-related projects or building structures that help the business scale effectively.

You don't need to be able to program. The most important thing is that you are curious, analytical, solution-oriented and enjoy turning ideas into practical solutions.

The internship is suitable for you who want to explore entrepreneurship, operations, investments, company acquisitions or business development without necessarily following a traditional technical path.

What you will actually do

    Work on internal projects linked to business development and growth
    Identify bottlenecks and improvement areas in the business
    Build and improve internal processes, systems and workflows
    Support in analysis work around new business areas and investments
    Work closely with management and other key people in strategic initiatives
    Develop documentation, structures and documentation for internal projects
    Test, iterate and improve solutions based on feedback and results

What we are looking for

    Great interest in company building, business development or operations
    Structured way of working and good problem-solving skills
    Curiosity and willingness to learn quickly
    Ability to work independently and take ownership of smaller projects
    Interest in entrepreneurship, investments or business acquisitions is merited
    No specific technical background required
    Meritable but not required
    Background in finance, business, tech, operations or entrepreneurship
    Experience working in startups or fast-growing environments
    Experience with tools such as Notion, Airtable, Google Workspace or similar
    Interest in SaaS, investments or digital business models
