As a Production Manager with us at Preform, you have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our factory. You lead, motivate and develop a tight-knit team of around 30 employees. The position is scheduled for daytime, which gives you optimal conditions to be present on the workshop floor and drive the business forward together with your team.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are a confident and communicative leader who has the ability to both set demands and motivate your team. You have a technical understanding of metalworking and can speak the same language as the operators on the floor. You are structured in your planning and thrive in a coordinating role where you are the link between the office and the workshop.

Your main duties

    Daily management and planning: Lead morning meetings, allocate resources and ensure that production flows efficiently according to plans.
    Production control in Monitor: You use Monitor ERP as your primary tool for production planning, capacity control, order management and material flows.
    Quality and delivery precision: Ensure that we keep promised delivery times to our customers with the right quality.
    Continuous improvements: Identify bottlenecks and develop the processes in the business together with techniques to increase efficiency.

We are looking for you who have

    Several years of experience in a leading role in the manufacturing industry in metal or mechanical processing.
    Good habit and practical experience of working in Monitor ERP (production and planning).
    Experience of production planning and capacity optimization.
    Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
