Description: As a production engineer at Team Tejbrant, you will play a central role in the development of future production.

As a production engineer at Team Tejbrant, you will have a central role in the development of future production. You work in the borderland between production, technology, purchasing and IT with the task of creating efficient, clear and sustainable production processes.

The role combines production technology, Lean, process development and digitalisation. By analyzing production flows, developing work methods and ensuring that the company's digital system supports the business processes, you contribute directly to increased productivity, quality and delivery ability.

You work closely with both production employees and the company's other functions and get great opportunities to influence how Team Tejbrant's production develops going forward.

JOB DUTIES

In the role, you are responsible for driving and coordinating continuous improvement work within production in Hultsfred. You analyze production flows to identify bottlenecks, efficiency opportunities and work steps that can be simplified or improved.

A central part of the role is also to develop the company's processes and digital working methods and ensure that the ERP system supports the business processes in an effective way.

Your main tasks include:

    

Drive and coordinate improvement work and Kaizen activities and work with Lean methods such as 5S, value flow analysis, standardized work and visual control.

    

Analyze production and material flows, production planning, capacity and lead times to identify improvement opportunities.

    

Mapping, documenting and developing production and business processes and creating clear and standardized work methods, work instructions and process descriptions.

    

Identify interfaces between different functions and improve information flow throughout the business - from sales and orders via planning, purchasing, stock and production to delivery.

    

Be the business' contact person and set requirements in the development of the ERP system and develop and standardize working methods in the system.

    

Ensure quality in master data, parameters and system structures and identify manual work steps that can be simplified, automated or digitized.

    

Run smaller system and improvement projects and act as a link between the business, internal IT resources and external system suppliers.

    

Develop relevant KPIs and develop data-driven follow-up of, for example, productivity, capacity, lead times and delivery precision.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a technical education background, preferably as a university engineer in production, logistics, industrial economics or equivalent. Alternatively, through several years of work in the manufacturing industry, you have built up the corresponding skills.

You have experience in production technology, process development or continuous improvement work and a good understanding of Lean principles and how these are put into practice.

To be successful in the role, you also need to have a good understanding of systems and experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing business. You do not need to be a system developer, but you understand the connection between the business's processes, information flows and system support and can act as a clear setter of requirements towards IT and external system suppliers.

Experience in digitalisation, automation, MES, WMS, BI tools or development of KPI and follow-up systems is a plus.

As a person, you are analytical, structured and solution-oriented. At the same time, you enjoy being close to the business and have a genuine interest in how technology, systems and people can work together to create efficient production. You have the ability to go from analysis and data to the factory floor, understand everyday challenges and, together with the employees, translate ideas into working solutions.

You are communicative and educational and find it easy to create trust at different levels in the organization. You enjoy driving change, taking initiative and are motivated by seeing concrete results from your work.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

The position as production engineer is located at Team Tejbrant's facility in Hultsfred, where administration, production, warehouse and design are gathered under the same roof.

You report directly to the site manager and have great opportunities to initiate and drive improvement and development activities. The role is central to Team Tejbrant's continued development as part of the Lehtovuori Group and in the work to create a modern, efficient and scalable production.
